PPP urges govt to immediately issue SKB to disband Ahmadiyah

Jakarta, (ANTARA News) — 

The Muslim-based United Development Party (PPP) Executive Board urged the government to immediately issue a joint ministerial decree (SKB) to disband the Ahmadiyah sect.

“This is aimed to avoid a broader social conflict as a result of pros and cons in the Ahmadiyah issue,” Hasrul Azwar, a PPP associate chairman, said at the parliament building here on Wednesday.

The SKB should be issued to prevent any perception that the government was allowing Ahmadiyah`s continued existence — an attitude which could encourage the emergence of other deviant sects in Indonesia, said Hasrul, who is also chairman of the House of Representatives (DPR)`s commission VIII overseeing religious affairs.

Thus, the PPP was asking the government to issue the SKB soon to disband Ahmadiyah as recommended by the Coordinating Body for the Supervision of Religious Beliefs in Society (Bakor Pakem), he said.

Ahmadiyah is considered a deviant sect because it believes in Mirza Ghulam Ahmad as another prophet after the Prophet Muhammad while Islam does not recognize another prophet after Muhammad.

Hasrul said Ahmadiyah had caused unrest among Muslims and leads to disunity especially in performing prayers.

He called on all people to refrain from causing or taking part in broader social conflict.

The tragedy which happened at the National Monument (Monas) square in Jakarta on June 1 showed a group’s wish to force their religious belief by deploying a mass of people against another group.

In mid May hundreds of people grouped in the Alliance of North Sumatra Muslim Mass Organizations came to the Provincial Legislative Assembly (DPRD) building to demand the immediate issuance of a joint ministerial decree (SKB) to disband the Ahmadiyah sect.

“We ask the government to issue the SKB on Ahmadiyah immediately or without any further delay,” Sakhira Zandi, one of the rally`s coordinators, said in his oration in the DPRD`s compound.

He said Ahmadiyah was not just a national or regional problem because it was in reality an “international conspiracy.”

Indonesia's Government shall be disband Ahmadiyah.

Regarded events that occured recently, indonesia's government shall be disband Ahmadiyah and follow up the issue a joint ministerial decree (SKB).

In order no more social conflict since that is blasphemy of Islam.

I suggest to jemaah ahmadiyah to out of Islam (to register themselves to separate religion to Islam) or they back to Islam by leaving all ahmadiyah's activity and read syahadah
