Mandala Airlines to cease operation

Transportation Minister Freddy Numberi said on Wednesday that Mandala Airlines will stop flying on Thursday.

“Principally, Mandala will no longer operate on Thursday,” Freddy said.

Freddy said he had yet to know the main reason Mandala stopped its service.

However, he said Mandala must be responsible to refund passengers who have bought tickets but failed to fly.

Kompas.com reported that Mandala had experienced a financial difficulty.
